Pathways – serious about people living with disabilities, education, job creation and the environment
Pathways-Pretoria is a non-profit organisation that provides education to learners with moderate to severe disabilities and also provides small business opportunities for young adults living with disabilities.
Current legislation puts more emphasis on waste avoidance, minimisation, reuse and recycling. Pathways-Pretoria has decided to look into how recyclable material could be used to better the education of children in previously disadvantaged communities and how teenagers and young adults living with disabilities could benefit from the job creation opportunities this initiative provide.
